AGV (autonomus Ground Vehicle), it's a research group under Proff. Debashish Cokrobourty ,Mining department. IT has its own lab named "autonomus learning and mine automation".
The team focus in making of there bot EKLAVA, it has been developed a lot and many new versions of the bot geared up for run. the current version is EKLAVYA 5.0. And they take part in one international compitetion called IGVC, it is held in USA every year, and this year they are also participating in Mahindra Rise price compitetion, in which they will be given a electric car from mahindra and they will have the task to make it autonomus,
Since this is a big challange to make a vehicle autonomus. the team is divided in parts so that the students can go deep in a particular research.
