Shahid Santosh Tarakeshwar Marg is the south-north avenue which starts from Tikka and extends till Puri Gate. It houses the Main building and meets the Scholars' Avenue at GolC. It is named in honor of the two freedom fighters who were shot at Hijli Jail: Santosh Kumar Mitra and Tarakeshwar Sengupta. Together with Scholars' Avenue and Nalini Ranjan Sarkar Avenue, it completes the 2.2.
