Nalini Ranjan Sarkar Avenue

Nalini Ranjan Sarkar Avenue is the east-west avenue which starts from Tikka and meets Scholars' Avenue at the joint with the road to Tech Market. It runs parallel to the Scholars' Ave. The road has Technology Guest House, Director's Bungalow, MT Hall and Jnan Ghosh Stadium on its sides. It is named in honor of the Finance Minister of West Bengal during the Foundation of the IITs as it was The Sarkar Committee report which led to the establishment of the first five IITs[1].
