Modeling of electrical, mechanical, chemical and network systems. Modeling of time-delay systems. Analog simulation. Digital simulation. Simulation of nonlinear, hybrid and distributed parameter dynamical systems. Simulation languages. Matlab / Simulink, Mathematica. Symbolic Computations. Overview of methods for model simplifications, approximation and order reduction of dynamic systems. Different techniques of model order reduction: Balanced realizations, Singular perturbation, Aggregation technique, Continued Fraction Approximation, Moment matching methods, Pade approximation.
