The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE), formerly known as Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM), was established in 1973 as Industrial Management Centre and later elevated to a full-fledged department in the year 1983. The department is well known across the nation for its excellent research and consultancy potential in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain, Quality and Reliability, Information Systems and E-Business, System Dynamics and Policy Planning, Human Factors and Safety Engineering and related areas of Industrial and Systems Engineering.
