Objectives: This course aims to develop an understanding of the dynamic interaction between the rail vehicle and track that is essential for a railway engineer. This course focuses on rail vehicle stability, vehicle ride comfort, hunting and conicity, rail-wheel contact, wheel and rail wear and derailment safety.
