{{This?}} may be used to indicate text believed to be associated with a specific Wikipedia article. It is meant to be attached explicitly to a word or a phrase. Once the text indicated is clarified and/or linked, please remove this template from it.

The date and link parameters are optional. "text=" and "link=" may be omitted if the text is supplied as the first unnamed parameter and the link as the second. If a link is not specified, it is taken to be [[text]]. The template's minimal syntax, therefore, is:

{{This?|Term, terms or text requiring clarification/linking}}

Example usage

{{This?|Lorem|Lorem ipsum}}

produces:

Lorem[This?]

Parameters

|text=
(required)  The text requiring clarification/linking.
|link=
Suggested target article for linking. If omitted, the contents of |text= will be used. This text is also shown in the tooltip generated.
|date=April 2025
Indicates how long this instance of the template has been in place and adds month and year to its categorization. If omitted, a bot should add it subsequently.

Categorization of articles

Adding this template to an article adds the article to the hidden categories All Wikipedia articles needing clarification and Wikipedia articles needing clarification from April 2025.
