User:DefCon/Maintainer works

It’s been very awesome been a maintainer. Most of my tenure was during vacations so I was not able to do a lot of work. The Metakgp dashboard is almost complete, a small security bug is keeping us from releasing it which will soon be resolved.

This year VP also introduced the freshers to Metakgp and the dashboard we are working on, in the orientation program.

I wanted to integrate a course portal in the dashboard too to share notes and other study material but while I was working on I got to know about the notehub.in which is pretty cool and is same what I wanted to build. I working on to find its creator and ask him/her to merge it with the dashboard for the benefit of all the student community.

We also planned to have intro seminar for the freshers but since the date we got was on the institute foundation day and it was long weekend and also the intro seminars of societies like Robotics had very less footfall so it was decided to keep the intro seminar afterwards.
