Prerequisite: NilThe electrical double layer, charge transfer and kinetics of electrode processes, transport phenomena, mechanism of electrode reactionsInstrumentation: Voltage and current measurements, recording devices, potentiostat, and galvanostat.Potentiostatic techniques: Cyclic and linear sweep voltammetry, pulse voltammetry, chronocoulometry, chromoamperometry and Bulk electrolysis.Indicator electrodes, optically transparent electrodes, cells, solvents and electrolytes. Electrode reaction with coupled homogeneous chemical reactions. Rate of electron-proton transfer. Electrogenerated chemiluminescence, photoelectrochemistry.
