I'm not sure whether largely anecdotal pages, such as this one, are a good idea. The information on this particular page might be true, but is this sustainable, and does it conform to the style we want the wiki to be in? Maybe the page should be largely factual, with the anecdotal parts at the very end, or in the talk page? --Amrav (talk) 11:41, 15 May 2015 (IST)
- There are a lot of topics like the quality of content of a course, advice for working under a particular prof and "funda" for applying to a particular company where objective verifiable information is either useless or is very hard to gather. For such topic subjective and anecdotal information can be very helpful but we should have clear separation between factual information and anecdotal "funda". Discussion page should be a good place for such information, as you have done in the Department change article we can mention the discussion page in the main page. Probably we can also create a template for reference of the subjective information in the discussion page. Hargup (talk) 15:37, 15 May 2015 (IST)
